Brighton Carnival is the UK's oldest carnival and one of Brighton & Hove's largest free events, attracting over 30,000 people each summer.

Carnival is proud to support all its local communities from across the city, including artists, community groups and local businesses.

With Carnival now in its 100th year and a bustling new creative programme planned for 2023, the team need as much help as possible, both on the day and in the lead up to it.

Come and volunteer. If you'd like to volunteer for the Carnival day itself, or for the many exciting fundraising events and workshops running up to the big day, please register your interest below and a member of the team will confirm your involvement via email. You may also get a phone call from the team to confirm details or to conduct further checks.

Whilst we will make every effort to ensure you get your choice of area you wish to work, we may have to move you to another part of the event due to operational reasons. If you are working you will be provided with food and drinks vouchers throughout your shift.
